Talking i painted my hood!! and pics!!

thanks to Chrysler and there water based paint my hood was all faded and cracked out so i painted it satin black for a quick fix ... here is some pics... hope you like

Looks good. Your "before" pic looks almost like my hood right now.

i think that would look good on mine being its silver and i have alot of black accents already...

but more of my hood is affected

we should sue them for new trucks

I can't say I agree with that move. To me, I'd much rather have faded paint than a satin finished hood. I would much rather burn my eye until I could afford to have the hood refinished from a body shop. That's just me.

i like it. mine is the same way i need to repaint it plus the wheel wells?right next to it. did you use a spray can or did you use a gun? just wondering because i dont have a gun and it would be sweet if i can just use a can to get that look. nice job though. i think it looks better than lookin at faded peeling (mine) paint.

use duplicolor spray can and you can get results like that b/c the spray is wider than a regular can....

its more of a fan spray than a regular ( round ) spray right?

yeah, it simulates a real gun and from my experience is quality paint, + you can match your truck exactly if you blend it good enough
