So after about half a can of PB blast, a grinder and a bit of wrestling I managed to remove my dented front bumper. I thought now would be a good time to change the headlights. I am looking at some basic clear/chrome headlights to slightly change the look of the front end and was wondering if anyone else has had experience with them?
Those headlights have no adjustment screws, so expect to be using washers/spacers on the mounting bolts to adjust their aim. Especially with HIDs, you want to have them adjusted properly, to minimize the number of people you blind.
The gold/copper colored screw at the bottom is your adjustment, but it's a real pain to get to it while it's in the truck. I bought these lights and the pattern is terrible, I pulled them back out and put my stock ones back in, much happier now!
Thanks for the info and saving me a headache. Do you know where I can get a good clear plastic headlight (similar to what is pictured) that I can use the factory plug-in bulbs?
