Default Replaced Battery - Now all these weird problems

Ok so my battery kept dying on me so I replaced it with a new one. Seems to be working great, except now I am having some weird problems.

When I first start the truck all the warning lights go out (except the check engine light, but that was on before all this trouble because of the egr valve), but then after a few seconds the airbag light comes on. Then after I drive the truck just a few feet the ABS and brake lights come on. The brights won't work anymore, if I try to put them on the headlights shut off and the dash lights start flickering and I can hear a very slight crackling noise coming from the dash. And the last thing is when I accelerate I hear what I can only describe as a farting noise coming from kind of behind the steering wheel, but if I rev the engine in park or rev the engine in neutral I don't hear that farting noise. Also if I'm just rolling along and put the engine in neutral and rev it I don't hear that noise.

So any idea what I could have done when I replaced the battery?

First, check all your fuses for a blown/partially blown one in the dash and the PDC.

Second, get a electrical guru on here to tell us if a dying CTM could cause your issues.

Thanks for responding! I did check the fuses and none were blown, so I started looking around the battery just trying to see what I could have done. I noticed a wire bundle that ran under the battery box. I couldn't really see under there but I started feeling around with my hand and that is when I found what I did. The clip that holds the wire bundle must have been broke and the wire bundle fell underneath that long bolt that screws down the brace that holds the battery in. I drove that screw right through that wire bundle.

So anyway I just spent the last couple hours cutting out the damaged parts of the wires and patching them back together and thankfully when I got everything back together the truck went back to normal, so no permanent damage.

Good job on finding the problem and the follow up so we all know what it was.
