Looking for a tire that won't spin on wet roads. Most tire shops aren't honest. They want to sell tires where they make the most money.
2008 Ram with 4.3 factory tires Wrangler P275 60 R20.
25000 mile so I'm not replacing quite yet.
I'm looking for something better that these things as all i get is wheel spin on wet streets.
I have 80 lbs over each rear wheel that helps some.

I dont think you have a 4.3, but your best bet is probably to find a good Michelin or Goodyear LT A/T. However, every tire will spin on a wet surface if you give it enough throttle. We need to know what your driving habits are before we can help. Mostly on road or mostly off road? How much highway driving do you do?

typo 4.7. I think i am only doing a normal takeoff. Just keeping up with other vehicles. I can tell it irrates some drivers that are behind me than I am not getting up to speed. Snow it's really bad unless I have it in 4wd. All of my driving is stop and go city type stuff. I will do some highway driving a few times a year but mostly 50 mile trips. Once in awhile it's a trip of 1000 mile but only once a year maybe 2. I live in southern Mich so I do want something that will dig into the snow.

Just do what everyone else does and get some BFG A/T KOs.

Don't know if you have posi track or one wheel peel but that would be the best solution to wheel spin. Another option would be to go to a taller tire but seeing as how you are in snow I would not go any wider than neccisary.

OEM SLT tires:
265/65R17 wrangler Goodyear

Current meats,

Toyo Proxes ST II
285/60/17

Great in wet
Ehh in any snow
Dry, squirrely at times.

Would have never switched from my Scorpions if they were available in the above size. Will go back to Pirelli when these are either done, or I get tired of them.

275/60R17
