How To: Installing aftermarket fog lights on a vehicle with factory fog lights.
First you have to find a place to mount your fog lights.
Mine I mounted on the crossmember in front of the radiator. I removed the two inner most bolts with a 13mm socket.
Next, I ran the ground wire, I chose in front of the crossmember near the bottom, so you don't see it.
Next, I hid the wires behind some bracing, so you don't see them.
Next, I took my test light, and found out which wire in my fog light socket was the power, for my truck, it was the white wire, and tapped into that...
Then you test the lights...
If all is good, they will turn on, like these pics will show...
Mine have a nifty rainbow hue to the lenses and therefore, produce a rainbow effect on the grille...
