Default Wideband Finally Installed

Finally got the Wideband Commander installed a couple weeks ago.

Seems like some of you guys were asking about a pillar pod for our trucks. In case someone else wants to try it, I thought I'd post this to show how I did mine. I used the universal single pillar pod from Glowshift Direct. Used a heat gun to form it, very slowly or you'll waste the pod like I did the first one. Plastic adhesive to stick it to the pillar post. Make sure you use a plastic adhesive that works on PP plastic, I used Loctite plastic adhesive. I then took it to a body shop and they blended it in with some kind of plastic putty and sanded it ($40.00). I textured and painted it. I used Sem texture coating to texture it and SpectraMatch trim paint from DieselManor to paint it. I used Mopar Natural beige, part #SM-D128AA. Came out pretty good I think. The texture is not an exact match to the other side but really not noticeable unless you're looking for it.

The WBC works exactly as advertised and the install is a snap as long as you're careful and follow the directions.

Eric, I got the Dynojet Wideband Commander from Air Ram.
I'm also doing some research on a turbo, l assume you're looking at an STS? PLease post up any info you come across!

Seeing how it's a universal kit, my biggest concern is the install cost.

BTW you can get an SCT "canned" tune without a wideband but if you go with a turbo I think a custom tune would be a necessity.

Hoping to get some myself in a few years. Can't afford to hunt boost just yet so I gotta hunt the money first

Thanks man. Stall converter next then either cam or boost. I'm hoping boost but kind of depends on the $$.

Steering column pod is for a 05 Ram but the 05-07 Daks have the exact same steering column so it works.
