Anybody have experience with Spec-D headlights
So, a while ago I cleaned up my headlights from many years of oxidation, and they came out pretty good, however, I am still not happy with them.
I have a 2005 SLT and have looked at a few options. I like the price point and look of the Spec-D halo headlights, found here
https://www.amazon.com/Spec-D-Tuning-2LHP-DAK05JM-TM-Dakota-Projector/dp/B016RV6ITW/ref=sr_1_4?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1515438697&vehicle=2005-40-299-296--53---3407-2129-8-1--265-1-0&sr=1-4&ymm=2005%3Adodge%3Adakota
I may not have used the right search words, but I tried to find some info on them here, so if anyone has any experience or knowledge about these lights please let me know.Thanks. |
I'd say be careful. Aftermarket lights not known for their quality. If you get em let us know what you think.

I picked up a while back, they fit pretty good, almost perfect. One major plus is that these are all black around the edges, where most other headlights have a gray around the edge. Simple removal and replacement, and they come with new bulbs too.

Those look good, Dakotaff.
BTW...those look like Goodyear Duratraks on your truck. How do you like them? On snow, wet pavement, dirt, mud? |
I ordered the lights. They should be here by Wednesday. Looks like a Sunday project to me. I will update in the Ole Blue build/mod thread if all turns out well.

The Duratracs are awesome, amazing in snow, good in the rain, and not too noisy.
And I love the look of 'em. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pTWvb51WHg |
