Of course, the Dakota isn't left out, far from it now days. I noticed on the trucks we got at work (2004-ish GMC/Chevy Savanna/Express), the body panels are slightly thicker than tin foil. Where-as I can "push in" the body panel on those vehicles, I can't on my Dakota.
Weight savings, and the fact they cut cost in half yet can still charge more than full-price has something to do with it. "But they do look nice"
