RE: Autolite 3923
I just changed mine out this morning...I just started the truck to make sure it started...It seemed to idle alot better.
The job was quite easy except for the spark plug rubber boot getting stuck on one of the new plugs after it had been installed. That was a pain[:@]! Besides that everyone was ok, some easier than others

I have the 3923's in my new 5.9. Seem to be ok for now. I've always had the Bosch Platinum +4's in my durango,no problems. I'm going to see if I can switch my plugs during the dyno and see if there is a difference. They monitor pinging,misfires,a/f ratio, etc during the dyno. I still don't understand howeveryone thinks theplatinums are "terrible"? They have a hotter spark, when used with cheap fuel, probably causes pinging...

RE: Autolite 3923
FWIW, I put in a set of 3922's in my HO today. She was running well prior to the changeover (about 19k in miles) but due to all our discusion I decided to change 'em out. Went smoothly. I did unhook the neg battery terminal due to the air intake tube/sensor being removed to access the coils. So, no MIL came on after the install (not sure if it was b/c I did unhook, or what). She does still run well, and this HO always has had a "bouncy" idle. She does roar down the road, that's for sure! *edit* I gauged them .040".

I read and have been told that champion spark plugs are the best replacement for mopar engines. Maybe that was just from back in the day. How often should the plugs be replaced? I'm at 22,000 miles on my 05 dak with factory plugs

I did notice a diff when I changed them.
