my "secret" plans...
Ok guys, I am far enough along in the design phase to be confident it will work... so here is kinda what I am thinking... I am not posting a lot of info, but from the pic, you should be able to guess...

Keep in mind, this is just the concept. and the prototype will probably be made out of PVC and sheet metal... The end product will be fiberglass and aluminum pipe. Fiberglass painted to match the truck and hopefully powder coated aluminum pipe...

hmmmm
Where ya gonna mount the stablizers? On the front side of the intake manifold? Looks like you got it all planned out, now find a warm G'rage and get cutting and glassing Which drop in filter are you gonna use?
Dude, I been tossing ideas around for my truck...you may have to glass for me since you say you are the pro

Well, I definitely have already made my own intake already...

And I have wanted to do this since I started thinking about making the scoop...
But it has taken some time to actually figure out how to do it and there to fit everything...
Bolt, when you pulled off the stock airbox... there are 2 holes used to mount it...
theres your answer.

sure ya did...
anyway, thats about all I have for this right now... just the theory and idea on paper...
I still have to figure out the dimensions of the airbox and what filter will fit best/flow best.
I also have to figure out a way to keep the motor from sucking in water/snow/whatever else is out on the road...
