Thanks for all your help guys. I decided to get the Goodyear DuraTrac tires. Getting them put on tomorrow & will post pics. They are 265/75/16 & I had to trim the mud flaps & inner fender well some tonight.

That's a great looking tire, and always gets good reviews. Nice choice.

I like what you guys are saying. I have always wanted to get a set of TA K/O's on my truck, but I am happy with the Goodyear Silent Armor that I put on almost 2 yrs ago (just so you guys know, the first winter with my silent armor was awesome, and on dry roads almost no road noise at all, "silent" armor..di-di-di, anyway, since I put them on I have put little over 40K on my truck in the past year and a half (roadtrips to TN and KY killed me) always rotated them every other oil change, and now if I was to guess I would say I've burned through almost 2/3's of my tread, not sure if that is common, normal, or good, just thought you might wanna know). Although, I know that bigger tires and tread means less MPG's. What would you guys say is the best happy medium between bad ass rugged looks and not killing your gas?

Or how bout this. If you upgraded to some nice rims for good weather and your truck is 2x4 queen of the hardball (paved roads) and kept your factory strictly for winter (like lets say you lived in the Mid West). And money was no issue, what would you use to set off your new rims and maintain decent MPG's and road handling, and then for just snow and muddy weather what would you put on your old rims?

I put Coopers on mine. Great tires for a very reasonable price.
