isn't that just a stock grille with the fins painted silver? i like the new one but i think the old one with the mesh painted black would look sick.

..but I just preferred the chrome/silver combo better after comparing pictures. Since I have the chrome rims, door guards and rear bumper it just tied it together better...imo.. |
I like the new grill better. How did you paint your grill? I want to paint my stock one black to match my truck
|
I just did away with my crosshair grille, but your two tone really looks good!
Where do you find a rattle can to match your Patriot Blue? |
This new grill looks a lot better in my opinion. GOOD JOB!
|
That looks awesome!! I like it

sand, primer (almost a whole can), paint (again, almost a whole can, wet sanded with 1500 grit between coats, except the last coat), clearcoat.....got the paint from a company in Florida that custom mixes dupont automotive factory paint and puts it in aerosol cans. I have found that this paint is superior to the duplicolor paint you can buy in stores. http://www.imatchpaint.com/index.php...page&Itemid=53 |
You forgot the details of one very important step. This "professional quality, (two part) clear coat" of which you spoke of.
I gotta repaint my rear splash guards, and I want to do it better than last time. The winter really took it's toll on my last attempt. |
