Thank you to everyone for your great show of support. Second, I never took offense at the "stupid question" comment. I knew exactly what they meant. It's easy to overlook the simple stuff, and in this case the parts store guy gave me the wrong bulb set, 3057 instead of the correct 3157.
All of you are awesome. Thanks again for your support. Now to look for some goodies for my new, well new to me, truck.

glad you got that fixed, when i had to change mine i had two go at the same time, one was the blinker and the other was the blinker, it was frustrating, but i figured out i had mixed up the bulbs as well.

thanks guys for help clarifying, and apology accepted
