Can I throw torque management to 0 without the transmission package? That's what confuses me..and do I NEED a custom shift schedule to change torque management regardless of whether I need to shell out that extra $40 or not..

You need to purchase the $40 transmission tuning package to have the ability to adjust torque management.

If you purchase the tuning package, you do not have to install a custom transmission shift schedule to be able to change torque management. You can still use the superchips transmission shifts and adjust torque management.

The shift schedules are separate from the torque management so you can set them independently of each other, however I do believe you need to buy the transmission program to be able to adjust either of them.

You have to have the trans package to adjust tm. I had a custom shift schedule but now am using the canned trans tune that comes with the tow tune. The one I made was very similar to the sc tune for towing and I got to a point where I felt the canned trans tune shifted a little bit better than mine.

Thank you guys, I was almost positive you had to pay but wasn't sure if you could just adjust TM if you don't have the time to make an entire shift schedule. I use tow tune and don't mind the shift schedule but would like it to shift harder so I guess I'll be getting the add-on. Its definitely worth it just for the TM, eh? makes it feel a lot sportier and fun if thats what you like

Yep...and I can hardly tell a difference unless I'm wot, then the sonnax kicks in for a nice firm shift.
