Default P0441 error code

I checked the FAQ and saw it is the Evap Purge Flow Monitor. Any diagrams or advice to help me attack this new engine code? (The FAQ parts pdf are not working for me.)

Start by making sure your gas cap is tight, the o-ring is good, etc, or just replace the gas cap, clear the code and see if it comes back. This code is a bear to track down, but start with the easy/cheaper stuff first.

There's a valve in the system that's often just used to test the flow through the evap system on start-up. On my wife's Santa Fe, this code pops up whenever we get a really cold day or two (this year the low temps have been brutal). I cleared the codes and the problem came back at the next cold spell, I cleared the codes and changed the gas cap and had the same reaction, so now I'm just going to wait until it warms up - it's too expensive to have a garage change that simple valve and too cold to do it myself at the moment, and it doesn't affect the engine performance.

Your truck might have a similar problem if you're subject to the cold this winter.

Gas cap o ring is in good condition. Might get a new gas cap and hope this problem goes away. @Alfons its been pretty warm here (South Texas) 62-85 so I don't think that is the problem.

I just had a P0452 on my dakota (which I think is around the same system as this one).. I tried everything and finally went to the dealership.. Turns out mine was the evap pressure switch on top of the fuel tank was stuck closed which ended up costing around $520 to replace.. From what my books were telling me it was better to take it to the dealership to have it checked because they had better testing equipment.

Man that sucks. One of these days I will go track this code down and fix it.

Up date on my code. So I have this hose that goes into the Canister Purge Solenoid that causing a a super rough idle(300-1000 RPM surge) and eventually causes my truck to stall. When I unplug the hose from my throttle body it acts fine.... so is my Canister Purge Solenoid bad? Here is the picture

I replaced the Canister Purge Solenoid and still have the check engine light on and when i plug that hose into my TB, I still get a super rough idle. Any ideas?
