headers, are they worth it?

Default headers, are they worth it?

what are the added benefits of adding headers too the 4.7 engine?

Unless you do other mods like CAI, Throttle body, tuner, and exhaust...doesn't do much except look prettier.

If the above mentioned is done, it will just add to the benefit of everything else you did...

The gain is not worth the cost. That being said, if you start snapping manifold bolts like is known to happen, then weigh the cost compared to repairing. I looked long and hard into headers after I had done about all I could do with other bolt ons. In the end, the cost just did not justify them for me.
