Cheapest place to buy ignition coil
Looking for the place to buy an ignition coil here in Canada. Any thoughts?

Not sure about Canada but I would check eBay, rockauto, and amazon. Just keep a eye on the shipping cost.
Coils for our trucks, at least here in the US, are not to costly. Usually start around $15 or so each. |
Crappy tire lists them online at $49.95. Canadapartsonline.com list them at $33.80
You might try phoning Auto Value if there's one near you. HTH |
Thanks for all the replies. I ended up at the dealer which cost $60. I thought they would cost over $100 that's why posted. I didn't think crappy tire sold them or I would have bought them.

You can find them at a lot of places, surprisingly. When I busted one accidentally while replacing my spark plugs, I managed to find one at Advance Auto. They were a few dollars higher than Rock Auto, but I needed it that weekend so I could get to work on Monday.

Methinks I'll pick up a spare (or 2) next time I'm at Pic-N-Pull.

Turned out that the centre electrode was burnt off the spark plug which caused the coil malfunction. The cheapest supplier was Benson at $32. However my truck is throwing a poor ground error for the fuel pump (from time to time to this winter) which may have caused the centre electrode to burn off. |
Did the coil actually fail, caused by the SP? Or was the plug the only problem?
