Watch my in-dash navigation
I had been daydreaming about this for a long time but finally bit the bullet. It was pricey but I am real happy with it. It's a Kenwood. Got every bells and whistle, except wifi. The seamless way it pairs with the iphone is impressive. Downloaded all my contacts without lifting a finger.

I am afraid not. This has a lot of expansion potential. Amps, speakers, rear view camera etc. They have to wait for now. My wife asked, so how much did this thing cost? I lied.

What model is this deck? How was it in terms of wiring/installation? How much into it roughly? I'm looking to get something very similar. I would very much like to have nav and bluetooth as well as a rearview monitor if I ever want one.

I had it installed at a car audio shop who knew what they were doing. Installation was just a $100, which I thought was very reasonable. I am sure it is no big deal to them. Pop out, pop in, but I could have easily done more damage. To get XM you need to buy an additional receiver, may be $75. I did not install the rear view camera but the ports are all there. All in all, I was $1300 poorer when I walked out. I am glad I did not skimp(well, there is one higher model with WiFi) but this one pairs with your iPhone and can duplicate a lot of the functionalities of the smartphone. It can even drive rear seat monitors independent from front! Navigation is miles ahead of what phones can do. It is Garmin, by the way. |
Like the face on that thing. Like the truck, looking for one of those too.

Looks nice, I'm looking to change my stock deck shortly as I want to amp my front speakers and am looking to go with the bigger touch screen like this.
