Firewall hole for wire running?
Is there a hole on the driver side to run a power wire through the firewall for my amp? I couldn't find anything or maybe I didn't look hard enough. I have a 2006 Dakota Club Cab ST.

FYI, if yours doesn't have rear seats either, the threaded hole in the floor behind that rear side panel (which would have been used to secure the lower seat belt strap) made for an easy wire ground (-) for the amp. I don't remember what thread size it is, but with a properly sized/threaded bolt from the hardware store and a wire ring terminal, it was easy as hell. |
Isn't there a rubber grommet over the hole that would be for the clutch linkage as well?

Do you mind posting a picture? I am kind of confused on what you mean.

I can't, as I don't own one. :) But, on trucks with the third pedal, the linkage has to pass thru the firewall, generally there is a hole for that, but, even on the two-pedal trucks, that hole should still be there, just with a plug in it.
