Default Superchips 3845 on an '09 4.7?

Anyone using a Superchips 3845 on an '09 w/the 4.7? I'm seeing conflicting information on their website, in this forum, and other places on the 'interweb' ...

I used the 3865 on my 05 4.7L and it worked fine. I am not sure what exactly Superchips changes between the various versions as it relates to the 4.7L engine, but I would guess there isn't much of a difference as to what it can change on the ECU. I am sure that programmer will do everything the 3865 can do but looks a little better and likely programs quicker/smoother. The 3865 is discontinued so the 3845 is likely the replacement to that. I found on the Summit Racing website someone asked a question about the Dodge 4.7L engine and they said it could do what they needed it to do so I am sure it will work.

Members with 08-10 Dakotas have used Superchips programmers on their trucks, including the 3865 model. No personal experience on using these on any 08+ Dakota, but apparently it can be done.

A couple of threads.
