Truck won't start after its been running

Hi guys new to the forums here, I have an 05 dakota and this only happens when it's hot outside ... Truck starts easily when cold but after going about 5 miles and I turn it off to do errands. Go to start it up and it cranks but won't start. It will eventually start after Multiple tries but this has been going on for about 3yrs and frankly it's getting irritating. So finally decided its time to dive in and see if I can fix it. Overall I've changed the coolant temperature sensor thinking that was the problem but after yesterdays hot weather it still happened. I have a new battery, and plan on changing the engine coolant and adding some fuel cleaner to my gas tank. Also going to O'Reillys tonight to see if there are any error codes listed for my issue Anyone have any suggestions on what could be causing this?
