Exhaust power gains

What kind of gains have u gotten on exhaust upgrade. I have 07 4.7HO. I just had a custum dxhaust built that opens up the y pipe into 3" pipe. Straight through exhaust and the dumps in front of rear tire. Id post pic if i could get it to work. Ive noticed much more umpfh when wide open.

Anyone ever had theres dynoed?

You will get some increase, maybe noticeable. Nothing to write home about unless you start opening the intake and engine. A tuner will make the biggest difference.

Tuner? As in superchips? What about switching out the manifold to a 2008. Any serious gains from that?

Tuner is the best bang for the buck. Yes, superchips is what the majority use. Unless you get bigger valves and pistons (increase displacement), a bigger intake won’t do anything.

Thanks! Is there a tuner as a starting point thatI should start to look at?

Superchips 3865 is what the majority of us used.
