custom upper control arms

Just made myself some upper control arms. The only company that I found that makes custom ones wants $700. That company does great work but I just couldn't afford them. So I made my own from 1 1/4" DOM tube and a GM ball joint (Moog 6292). I went with this ball joint so in the future I can use JBA ball joints. Works great so far.

Very nice. I need to swap mine out pretty soon too.

Thanks. I should have made them longer and used the ram CV's.

Then you would have needed to do the lowers as well. :D

All in all, they look pretty good. What did you use the bend the tubing?

I have a friend with a hydraulic tubing bender. I had him bend a two foot piece about 60 degrees. It is inch and a quarter Dom .120 wall. The bushing housing is two inch quarter wall. It's a lot of work but fun too.

You could probably market those...... Legal ramifications would suck though.

I agree. I have a few different ideas too
