RE: Spark Plugs 06 Dakota?
no it will not hurt anything. but just won't benefit you in any way. although i have seen some imports and ford products that run like crap with aftermarket plugs. i would stick with factory, autolite, ngk, motorcraft, or ac delco
stay away from BOSCH i have had tons of problems with their platnium plugs

If your truck has 100,000 miles on it, I could understand.
Changing the plugs isn't a modification or power adder on these trucks.

No offense, but if 2 techs just said it won't do anything to change the plugs......why would you waste the money on buying new ones then!?!?

No offense, but since when does labeling yourself a "tech", give you instant internet credibility??? You could be a "tech" at Briggs & Stratton or a 12 year old ******** playing on your moms computer. I've seen more "techs" F*^& things up than I care to remember. No offense of course.
With that being said, coming from the LS1 world, replacing the stock crap platnuim plugs with NGK's has always provided a smoother idle. The platnuim pucks usually blow off after your first WOT romp.
Oh yeah, I doubt the $17.00 on plugs will break the bank. Have a nice day.
