High Output V6 with 250 horsepower
3.5L SOHC 24V High Output V6 with 250 horsepower
This is what the 06 Charger SE has standard also found in the Magnum.
3.5? Where did that come from? Is it taking place of the 3.7?
250HP does the Dakota know about this? HeHe
Sure make my 260hp HO with two extra cylinders fell a little wimpy.
I wonder if it needs premium gas like the 4.7 HO?
Wonder never seize!

To my knowledge, the 3.5L motor is the same that was found in the Chrysler LHS, Chrysler 300M, and the Dodge Intrepids.
By the way, if your in any V8 Dakota.....you would win in a 1/4 mile drag......
Honestly, the Dakota doesnt need another V6....it needs a CRD...

Oh well, as long as Ford and Chevy don't introduce diesels before us.

The 3.5L doesn't have the power band to pull such a heavy truck, peak HP and TQ are good but not low enought on the RPM to work with a truck and towing. Now the new 4.0L rated at 255 hp and 290tq in the Picifica and Nitro mite be a good motor for a Dakota, is seem more tuned for that application.

That's exactly why the 3.7 is in the Dakota. It's essentially a 5.2L V8 minus 2 cylinders....it's a solid motor...
Also...the Pacifica 4.0L was a long time coming...as they also used the 3.5L for a while...and found it to be a dog....

I wish dodge could create an engine as good as the nissan v6 thats in the frontier. I was very close to buying the frontier, but couldn't force myself to spend the extra 4 grand or so to get it The dodge v6 that I have is complete garbage. Doesn't have a lot of power, and certainly doesn't do that well on fuel either.
