Frenchy, did you keep the overall wheel with tire diameter the same as stock?

Not Ram 20's but 20's in general... This is my truck. At least until next week.

Oops I just replied to the wrong thread. Don't have a pic but recently seen a truck just like mine on ram 20's.(black ho quad cab) I thought it looked really good & was wanting to get them for my truck. But not if it makes my mileage go to crap, since I think it's kinda crappy now[sm=insomnia.gif] You guys are seriously saying that I could expect a 2mpg drop just from a slightly larger rim if the tire diameter was exactly the same??

Yes, due to the fact there is more rotational mass, and heavier weight. My 20s weighed in about 38 pounds a piece.

Thanks trucky but I think not-these ho's come with 392 gears already and I said I wouldn't get a larger diameter tire for the 20's so the only difference would be probably 10 or so pounds of unsprung weight per wheel & I'm being told to expect a 2mpg drop for that. My cousin has a nice looking ram hemiquadcab with the stock 20's on it. We get about the same mileage if he drives his nicely[sm=sigh.gif]
