Don't worry about that, I do want some. Only thing is it's a lot of $ just to look better. I'm sure it won't handle any better until someone offers some better shocks for these trucks. I wonder if these trucks were intended for the bluehair crowd? with shocks like that. At least 20's would make it look a lot sportier

It does handle better. Lower profile + wider tires equal less tire roll and more grip. I felt the difference the first time I went around a corner.

In my case, more like putting perfume on a pig that you spend 3 hours a day/5 days per week with...[sm=trust_me.gif]

I just bought on eBay a set of 06 ram 1500 machined faced rims. I hope they fit the truck, anyone know 100% they will? I am goigng to run 2754520 like frenchy has. I hope it all works out! I decided against aftermarket because I didnt want to have to carry a key to fit the lugs in the tiny holes in them. I also wasnt thrilled about having to have adapters to most aftermarket rims. This way my lugs I have now will work and everything will look stock. I was just after the size and not the flash of having big wheels. Now if they make shocks I thing the dak should handle soo much better. Also I believe the alloy rims are lighter than the chrome aftermarket wheels.

200% they will.

5x5.5 lug pattern. Same as the bubble wheels as seen in red quad above.

Hey all got my 06 RAM 1500 wheels on today. I like them, truck feels more confident on the road. Let me know what you all think! Truck is REALLY dirty, but should look sharp when all cleaned up.

Looks nice...

I'd like to see some daylight pics of those when cleaned up. The flash is highlighting the wheel-well a bit much to see the true appearance.

A drop in the rear would look nice to level it out. IMHO...

It looks like the tires are small on those rims... anyone know if 295/45/20s would clear with the stock ram wheels?

I doubt that combo would help the gas mileage but it would look sweet.

I was considering the chromed versions with the 295/45/20s but I've got a money shortage issue at the moment.. [8D]

Yeah I am looking to drop it a bit maybe later. Here is some more pictures, but the truck is still dirty. I think the 275 45 20 are big enough. The 295 migh get pretty close to the upper control arm. Truck seems to ride well, but I did looss about 1.3MPG for sure. The handeling was well worth it. I bought the rims on eBay fro 950 plus 720 for the tires at work. I over paid but I didnt feel like playing the auction game I did a but it now. You can get the chrome version (Big Horn edition) for mis 700's if you do the auction. These rims are brand new, were only on the Ram for less than a 100 miles so the are in perfect shape.
