I couldn't agree with you more! I remember years ago when a cop pulled me over on Christmas Eve, after watching me do dughnuts and handbrake turns in a shopping mall parking lot that was empty. I explained that I had just gotten now snow ties and figured with the fresh snow and the empty parking lot, it was a perfect time to test the handling and grip of the new tires. Better to do it then and know what they were capible of, than to assume and find out incorrecty on the road. He smiled, told me that it looked like I had evaluated them enough and wished me a good night!

 

Drove with the stock kdw's on the nsrt for 3 winters with out issues.. depends on how you drive.. got a set of toyo proxes 4s and almost spun into a ditch only going 30mph.. all seasons ha.. this past winter i was on bfg g force (d/w) tires..

 

Last weekend installed Blizzak's on 18" wheels. Btw, 18" did fit very well on DD RT. Though, I was told that not all 18" will fit.

So, will see how it is in a snow.

 

any one drive around in the snow we just had here in the east?

 

I have 18" stock wheels on my DD Crew and debating 22" wheels. If anyone has any interest in 18's let me know. have only 500 miles on them at this time.
