2011 Citadel AWD Hemi RPM's
Hey All, I have a 2011 Citadel AWD with Hemi and really enjoy it so much!! It's such a great car. I do a lot of driving and I noticed that I am always hovering around the 2000 RPM range. I guess you can say that I baby the car and don't punch it at all, but i notice even when i step on the gas a bit (definitely not near flooring it), the RPM's don't move much past the 2000 RPM mark. It doesn't feel like the Hemi that used to be in my 07 R/T Charger where if i hit the gas the car would haul.
Not being a mechanic I was just curious if this is normal or if anyone notices the same? Thanks!! |
If you push the gas pedal further, it should kick down a gear and get the RPM's up.

If you don't hit the gas enough to take it out of MDS mode you will notice little change. Push the pedal down hard enough and you will feel it kick down in gears, the RPM's jump and you will go. |
