Default Crappy remote start range

Anyone else having issues? Dodge advertises 300ft...I'm lucky to get the vehicle to start 40/50 ft away (pointing the remote right at the vehicle). I have changed the battery and took it to the dealer...Neither helped anything. Also noticed that I need to be almost pinned against the vehicle to lock the doors using the button on the handle.

haven't tested the full range yet but mine works well so far. as for the button on the door? force of habit i always press the remote while walking away lol

I have very good range from the FOB and can always lock the doors with the button in the handle with the FOB in my pocket. You may want to pull the liner in the rear underfloor storage and make sure that the antenna wire is clipped in properly. A picture of it can be found here:
