Default removed spare and plastic shield

Spare and jack weigh 85 lbs together. Going to see how much the weight loss improves elapsed 1/4 mile time at track in a couple weeks. I think I'm leaving it off as the d deeps quicker without it. I also took the plastic shield off as the flowmaster catback bangs against it when the pipes heat up

The seats I would consider if they were meant to pop out easily.

I've got a '07 Charger I drag race that is completely gutted (3200 lbs) so I'm always weight conscious. I'm betting that removing the 85 lb spare/jack would give you more of a performance advantage than any intake or exhaust on the D. Not only would it improve straight line acceleration but it would improve cornering and braking as well.

Maybe remove your hood, side mirrors, windshield wipers, passenger seat, all rear seats, interior molding, radio, ac, factory sub, and whatever else I forgot and get into high 14's

Yeah I need those items. An 85 lb spare I can live without as I have not been stranded by a flat sin e 1983

I might have to remove spare too soon. Thinking of putting compressors there when I bag the Durango.

Here is how my Mustang was that I was drifting last year while I was stripping it down. I should of weighed it before and after. I did take A/C, ABS, heater and smog out of it too. But lost interest in it and ended up selling it.

I dig the pictures. I've found that in the drag racing world that the only guaranteed speed modification is weight reduction. Everything else either may not work as advertised or cause issues.
