Oh, damn, just a muffler delete kit? Wack! Sounds good, but way overpriced.

Overpriced in comparison to what? You get 2 straight pipes and two new stainless tips. The nearest exhaust to that is the Magnaflow and that starts at $600+...

Ok, I know this is an old thread, but today on a whim I drove over to Hamilton NJ AKA Trenton and purchased / installed the Mufflex kit on my DD. I drove it around this afternoon and Here are my thought: IT IS SO F^&*KING LOUD! ok, with that said I'll explain, at start up, aggressive-nice roar! at idle- good, and 65 to 75 mph slightly louder then stock and some minor drone when in MDS. But if you step on the gas peddle more then a couple inches it sounds like a plane is landing right behind you, holy hell. I also think I lost some low end torque, but that could be due to staying off the gas pedal as deep as I normally drive.

I'm going to drive it a couple more days to see if it grows on me, if not thank god I had the great guys over at Mufflex put a slip collar on the passenger side pipe so I can slip it back on and clamp it down. The drivers side is a direct bolt on, so no problems there.

What's up Steve, I was thinking of stopping at my local muffler shop tomorrow and seeing if they an cut and weld in some small muffler in line. We will see. here is a ide I shot today, I had to balance the phone on my mail box so its pointing high and I'm sure the sound reproduction stinks as well but here it goes.

The truck is idling at the beginning of the video, one rev, shut off engine with re-start, then several revs and idle.
