Mine was an early Gen3, although it's a 2012, it was a demo with 4,500 on the clock. When I was at the dealership, I saw another 2012, just like mine with the same preferred package and it stickered for $130.00 more than mine. It had the "Dodge" nameplate with the hash marks on the grill. After checking the price from the dealer, my guess was that the price for the nameplate and install was probably the price difference. So far the best price I'm getting is on ebay around $41.00

 

My D R/T was built in December of 2011 and has the old Dodge emblem.

 

Not sure what the difference other than the ebay auction title. One says "Charger" and the other "Durango" Both say they are 8" long. Don't see any additional size info. They do have different part #'s though. Both auctions state "This emblem is approx. 8 inches long may also fit other model Dodge Products with a Honeycomb hex grille."

Yeah...saw these too, I think the cheaper one may not have the right backing plate to attach it on the Durango...sure is tempting though

$47 with delivery from eBay using link found in this thread. There were some others on eBay that I've watched the past few weeks but decided to go for it. Will let you know. Should get it within a week...coming from Nevada.

 

Got mine today. Install seems easy with the two clips but I am concerned about properly removing the existing one. Anyone have an easy install guide? Hard to get to the clips from the inside. Was planning on using a think flat screw driver.
