Default 3m Paint Protection Film - "Clear Bra"

For those of you that want to add some chip protection to your D, I was able to find a comprehensive pattern kit from a reliable source.

I purchased my kit from Bob at Car Protection Pro:
http://carprotectionpro.com/

Here is the most comprehensive pattern for the D I have been able to find:
http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/005...1FS.pdf?100547

I have part of the kit already installed on my R/T and I am currently awaiting the arrival of the rocker panels, lower R/T bumper fascia, front wheel well fender lips, and A-Pillars to complete my set.

Very Cool! Are you installing it yourself?

I have already installed the bumper, hood, fenders, headlights, fog lights, and side mirror film. Just waiting on the rest. The bumper was the hardest part since it has a lot of contours.

I had mine done by a local company who did a fantastic job. You got have that protection on these cars because that front end is like a brick, a real rock magnet!

Looks good. Why not wrap the lower fascia too? That will be a chipped up area without some day.

Since the break lines are there for the sections, that wrap is perfect on the Gen3.

The lower was done also, the final pic has it on mirrors, cross hair, and full bumper. Picture 8 shows him doing the lower. The 3m kit even has the little sections that look like upside down L's on the lower section by the honeycomb grill trim.

Looks good. I went with the xpel ultimate and had a local shop install it. Im pretty pleased and it has already saved me from several chips on the front lip spoiler. Do you have any issues with air bubbles or peeling up at the edges?

Mines been on for about 3 months and there are a few spots where there's air bubbles starting to I may have to take it back to the shop and see what they can do about it. And be careful I you ever use a pressure washer to wash your truck. I also notice that the panels with the clear bra seem to attract dust faster than the rest of the panels which makes it look like only part of the car is dirty. Kinda funny.

I have no issues with bubbles or edges peeling.. I installed a clear bra on my former vehicle and no issues even up to trade in for the Durango. I installed it over 4 years ago. I think for longevity 3M is the way to go.
