I have had my slightly used '13 R/T RWD since Dec 29. Getting a consistent 17 mpg combined city/hwy with a light foot. The curb weight of an AWD R/T is exactly 200 lbs more. So having 200 more lbs of weight of which most is rotating machinery would suggest I'd probably get something like 14.5 mpg if I had AWD. BTW my 2000 SLT 5.9 Durango only got 16.5 mpg on the hwy and 15 mpg combined.

Another thing to consider, especially now in the north east is that using the remote start is also gonna kill your gas! It won't technically lower your gas mileage, but it will give you less miles per tank.

Default Hemi gas mileage

Real world gas pump to gas pump mileage. Filled up on Feb 16 with 307 miles on trip meter. 17.83 mpg. 2/3 highway, 1/3 city. Drove round trip to Lake Charles on Sunday. Saw a gator while waiting to tee off on one of the back nine holes at the L'Auberge casino. Scary. 354 miles and 18.62 mpg. With a light foot it's not too bad though it cost me $71.00 to fill up today. RWD 2013 R/T.

Supposedly we are getting summer blend fuel soon, more gas and less crap.
Will be interesting to see if any difference...

Seriously! Also, there's a reason you pay a gas guzzler tax with this vehicle!
