The few jeep guys I see using it speak extremely high of it.. I'm curious as to why it wires up this way?

Default Hypertech

Hypertech has been in business since 1985. I remember purchasing a Hypertech Power Chip in 1987 for my 1986 Corvette (sold the '86 Vette in 1997 and replaced with a 02 Vette).

They list the Hypertech Interceptor Power Tuning #705003 in their website for the 2011-2013 Durango Hemi. They also show the installation on a Challenger 392 which gives you an idea how simple is to install.

I will put this one in my wish mod list ...

Lol I know i had a power programmer on my '95 Trans Am... I'm tempted to order but at the moment I'd get bitch slapped if I ordered anything else for my truck!

I know that feeling! The wife wants some extra performance out of her 1.4 Turbo Dart so MAYBE if I spend some mod money on her, I'll be back in the green for truck upgrades.

hypertech (which I had never heard of) be legit..

I also didnt like that it requires you to go under the hood and plug/unplug
a harness, was hoping for a handheld device with vehicle feedback and options.
But if it works, and gains are real, its not like I have any ither choices today... zero actually for my 2013 ..says 2013 Durango, shows dyno for a RAM 5.7 Hemi.
So I may have to look at this again...Let me know what you think if you
buy one...

Hypertech Inc was founded in 1985 and released our first power 'chip" in 1986.
In 1994 we released our first OBD programmable product

The Hp & Tq gains on the 2011-2013 Durango 5.7L are:
Performance Gains
Premium Octane: +33HP +40TQ
Regular Octane: +25HP +28TQ

Dyno graph available on our web site

The accelerator controller part of the kit improves throttle response.
The under hood harness and module has the tuning.
(You can use just the under hood harness if you want)

Thanks,
GW

Given all the bugs that Diablo seems to be having, this seems like a very interesting alternative!

How do you think it will account for running 22" wheels? Even though they are 40's, the outside diameter is slightly bigger than stock.

Not 100% sure the only things I've read are over on jeepgarage and the guys running it have seemed very happy with it!
