Door ding prevention strips, aftermarket or OEM?
So my DD is a real door ding collector despite my parking miles from any other car. I'm quite fed up with it.
Anyone use this product? Or something like this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0085P2LJA/ref=redir_mdp_mobile/189-3976026-8525618
Is there an OEM part?

I bought these for my R/T. Took them to my dealer to install. There is a ding already in a critical area so they wouldn't do it. I need to get one of these paintless dent removal guys to take care of the ding first. http://www.sportwing.com/dodge-duran...e-molding.aspx

I wanted to protect my D from the careless person who we occasionally park next to. Unfortunately Dodge did not make this standard equipment or at least an option, considering the cost of the suv. I looked around and found this website and their product is excellent. I was even able to put the citadel lettering back onto the molding in the same factory location.

I also used Sport Wing. OEM quality product and easy to apply and great color match. I agree with CMil, I prefer the look of the D without the door edge moldings, however on a Black vehicle you hardly notice them. Unfortunately not everyone on the road is as conscientious with their vehicles so I opt for the door edge moldings vs. door dings. BTW, washed the D yesterday and found a nice mark in the molding that would have resulted in a ding right on the style line of the door, so it did its job.

Here are some pics. Not sure if they will come through. Using iPhone b/c my wife has the iPad, son is on the Mac, and work laptop is locked down for this kinda stuff. If these don't come through I will repost later.
