There are specific tunes designed to run E85 Our 5.7 D's will not run on it at all.
The 3.6 and its fuel system were designed to use it.
Personally I would stay away from it.

I have switched to a full tank of 93 octane with the anticipation of today's Hypertech install...

Yeah hippie gas is not worth it. We use it at work and the mileage sucks.

Its funny that my original question was whether or not people have had issues switching octane and its become a debate on e85. I think it was my ballast for my HIDs btw. Not having issues anymore. Lol got to love tangents!

I feel the difference going from 87 to even just 89 and back to 87. the engine sounds different in my 11 Crew v6. I just stick with 89 since i do a lot of highway driving and sometimes on road trips ill go to 93 a couple days before so that the whole fuel system has 93 throughout.
