Smile Fuse 82 Keeps Blowing! Please help!

The fuse that controls the steering column and cruise control keeps blowing in our 2015 Durango Citadel. Is it possible that we need a new clock spring or is there something else we should check into first? TIA for your advice!

If you are still under warranty, take your DD to the dealer. Electrical can be tricky
to self diagnose. You could have a short etc. etc..

Does it blow randomly or can you correlate it to when a specific button is pressed or the steering is turned a particular direction?

It seems to blow when we turn the ignition off (but not every time).

Hi jldoyle,

Sorry to hear about this! If you decide to visit your local dealership I'd be happy to follow up with them for you if needed. Just PM our page with your VIN and let me know.
