Nice. I've made those trips many times. I too get about 21/22 mpg on the highway. Unless going through the Rockies. Doing 75 up the pass at Eisenhower tunnel is pretty hefty at 6% at 11,300'.

Anywho, looks like a fun trip! Next time stop at the garden of the gods.
This is the only photo I have hosted.. But it's in Colorado Springs and just a ton of huge orange rocks sticking out of the ground. It's a nice park to walk thru.

Also if you are in Idaho springs, Colorado, stop at. Bojoes pizza. So good. They put honey on the table and when they pull the pizza out of the brick oven, the lace the wood board with honey before taking the pizza out and to your table.

Wow! I would love to be able to take a trip like that one day. You must have very well behaved kids to take a trip like that on. My almost 4 year old and 1 year old could not handle 5000 miles in two weeks (or more like I could not handle it LOL!).

I think the coolest picture you had was Craigs house. How did you find that?

How many miles did you average on a tank of gas?

I found the the Boyz n the Hood house address online and entered it into the NAV. I found the block Friday was filmed on online too. When I got to the street, I pulled over and asked a girl which house was it. She pointed it out for me.

Both were in South Central L.A. Pics were taken from inside the vehicle. LOL!

I didn't really pay attention to miles per tank. I'd just pull over and fill up when I got down to an 1/8th of a tank or so. The range is quite long.
