Can anyone tell me what is a good exhaust system for my D. Keep in mind it's the v6

 

Ditto, I waswondering the same thing.

 

My SXT Rallye came with the stock R/T exhaust, even that's good for 5 hp over the single tip exhaust. I would go with the Dynomax, it's by far the cheapest full exhaust and it only has 2 mufflers. You don't need resonators on the pentastar because there's no MDS drone. Since I already have duel exhaust I plan on buying an x-pipe from Dynomax to delete the suitcase muffler.

 

I also have a 2013 sxt rallye, I wonder if it also has r/t exhaust. And how can I find out

 

If you have a Rallye then you have the stock R/T catback. A normal SXT or Crew with the 3.6 doesn't have duel exhaust.

 

has anyone installed this exhaust on their D (Cat-Back Exhaust System - Single Straight Rear Passenger Side Exit) or does anyone has any thoughts on this exhaust...looking to install a exhaust on my 2011 Durango AWD Crew 3.6L

 

I have the MAGNAFLOW SS dual exhaust on my 3.6 sxt. I Did not have the cut outs for it, so i cut my own, yes, a razor blade and a heat gun. I wanted the painted rear lower valance but i got the exhaust first. i was not impressed with it at first. But it has since opened up a little and paired with an intake. I am 95% happy with it. I owned a G35 back in 06, it kind of reminds me of that hum at idle, just a little deeper. Don't expect a lot without getting too ricey.

 

Looks good... how does it sound and did it improve the performance?

 

Sounds like a low freq. sub-woofer humm. You can feel the exhaust humm while in the house and the DD in the driveway on a cold start. Performance wise, noticeable yes, a lot, no. Its still a V6 on the lagging tranny. If I had to predict the dyno, maybe, maybe 5 hp just like the ralley dual exhaust. Like i said, don't expect a lot of "V8" sound.
