Hated to....but had to do it. FLAPS
I live on a stone chip road and found my first scratch behind the rear tire. If I continue to drive "unprotected" I'll destroy the rocker panels and more since these stones are brutal. So as a quick fix I put on factory flaps. When I see my 3M guy, I'll see how much he can cover in film. But in the meantime I have to live with these............strange looking on this vehicle aren't they?

"No No No".......
Station wagon it is.........just can't stand the thought of scratches and blemishes on a 40+K vehicle. Bad enough they depreciate rapidly and I'm kind of a fanatic about keeping it pristine. Maybe I'll get some wider bad-*** rims next to fill out the flap area.
And of course, a visit to my 3M guy to do the front and possibly the rocker panels to see if I can ditch these things.

Hey, no apologies. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. It could be worse, like pink accents or something. :-)
It's not like when you reach the Pearly Gates St. Peter is going to run his finger down his list and say, " Ohh, so you're the guy who put mud flaps on an R/T?"

Well if St. Peter is a Dodge guy, he might have words with me, ha ha. I had a 92 Dakota I bought new years back. Loved that little truck with the 318 V-8. By the time I sold it 10 years later, the rocker panels were chewed up with hundreds of chips. Probably had 2 bottles of touch up on it!
