Default What synthetic oil and filter you guys running in your RT?

I am going to switch to synthetic on the first change, just curious what most of you guys running for oil and filter? I use Castrol and K&N in my Shelby GT500. I like purolator gold filters too. Anyone notice a difference in mileage, engine noise, smoothness .......etc? Thanx

Same question. Wondering how Many guys here run synthetic with the MDS system? 20 weight oil is 20 weight oil but does MDS engage differently with the synthetic?

From what I read the answer is no synthetic does not affect MDS. I am going to go with a quality 5w20 synthetic and either k&n or purolator gold filter.

I've run Mobil 1 since 2,000 miles and have no issues with the MDS. It will have 7,000 miles on it the next time it leaves the garage. I use Fram Tough Guard filters.

I'll be switching to Mobil 1, 5W20 and the K&N PS2010 filter on my first Oil change.

Mobil 1 in both my Hemis right now. I have ran mainly Valvoline synthetic blend in my Magnum for years and no problems. There was a smoking deal on Mobil 1 at the parts store so I put it in the Magnum and D3.

I just did the first change at 1250 miles(sorry its what I do with new cars)
and I used Penzoil Ultra 7.4qts of 5w20 and a K&N Oil filter.
I typically would have used Royal Purple synthetic but it is not mopar approved.
