Goodyear Fortera vs Kumho Solus KL21
Im getting 20-inch wheels later this year when the tires o the stock 18s wear out. Both the Goodyear and the Kumho were stock on 20-inch DDs.
I've read some bad reviews here on the Kumhos but haven't seen anything about the Goodyears.
Pro and cons from uses?

The Fortera is far from Goodyear's best tire, but it blows away the Kumhos. Kumho makes cheap tires, and they are just that. The Fortera is a very average tire, and while not bad, if you can afford more there are many other options out there to choose from.

Just noticed that you are in Arnold MD. It's a little bit of a hike, but the most reputable tire dealer in the DC area (and likely all of MD) is Radial Tire in Silver Spring. They are efficient, have good prices, and stand behind every sale. They are also involved with lots of local racing clubs. Best of all they won't sell you junk unless you insist.
I've been going there for more than 35 years even when I've lived out of town. And no, I'm not related to them :-)

I'm pretty impressed with the stock 20" Forteras on my D. This is coming from a guy that had Bridgestone Potenza Pole Positions on a 02 Maxima previously. I like a nice handling automobile.
The Goodyears hold in the corners far better than anything this size has a right to, and my AWD v6 model has done very well in its first Wisconsin winter. Great traction on ice. Handles snow well, unless trying to do a start from a dead stop in snow deeper than the front air dam.
I'm at about 20,000 miles and I'd say the wear is maybe a little more than 50%. My guess is that I'll get around 30 to 35,000 miles on these.
