I'm thinking about getting some snow tires. The Firestone Destination ST's that I have on there now do really well in rain, but the little bit of snow we got around here last year I did notice some slipping and loosening up of the wheels.

I just put a set of the Nitto Crosstek tires on my stock 18's and absolutely love them so far. In the first week I've had them on dry roads, and in a huge sown pour, and they have been awesome. So far better than the Terra Grapplers I had on my Dodge Ram. The next test will be the snow, which I hear may hit us in Ohio here mid week next week.

Man you guys out there in Colorado are so freaking lucky, Ski resorts are opening up everyday out there. I want snow, my Burton Custom X wants to ride ! ugh

I'm off all of December, if any of you guys out there are close to a resort and want to let me shack a couple days so we can shred. let me know ! LOL

Those tires look really lugged, you should have no problems getting through the powder. Your only barrier will be the clearance issue of your DD.

We get a bunch of snow where i live and frozen streets for 4-5 months is more of an issue. Gotta keep the family and the wife's new car, out of the ditch.

I had Blizzaks on my 02 Nissan Maxima and man that thing could pull through ice and snow like nobody's business. Which was a miracle since that same car with Potenza Pole Positions was useless in 1/2" of snow.

I'm already impressed with the AWD system on the D with factory Forteras. I would think with snows that thing would feel damned near invincible. Would probably do damage to the front airdam before you get stuck.
