Today I had a CEL pop up again. Last time I had stopped by discount auto to tag the code. According to the guy, he said that the code appeared to be a loose had cap. I was about 1/2 way through the tank. He let me clear the code, I tightened the gas cap and if I went. I've had no issues for about a month but this morning it happened again. Haven't gone to have it checked but I'm guessing it's the same issue. I'm at around 3/4 of a tank and I make sure to I turn the cap a few times after my full ups. Anyone else have this issue? I had surgery 2 weeks ago and am dreading trying to get the tuner out with one hand.

 

You should be still under warranty and this is an emissions code. Take it to the dealership and have them fix it properly.

 

I will but I need to remove my hyper tech. I just had surgery on my arm so need to wait until I can do it. It actually driving better now so whatever it was is not being used. Can't remote start and eco does not kick in but I have better low end torque which kinda has been concerning me lately. Thanks for the reply.
