I agree Orin it is getting quite ridiculous. I am in the market for a used car for my daughter. We have been out checking some small jeeps and even a few Dodge sedans and she sais to me the other day. "DAD NONE OF THESE HAVE A BACK UP SCREEN OR HEATED LEATHER SEAT" My REPLY WAS "MIRRORS ARE YOUR BACK UP CAMERA AND WEAR LAYERED CLOTHING...TOOK ME 20 + YRS TO BE ABLE TO BUY A CAR LIKE THIS!" everything is getting nuts

That's awesome but very true. In her defense she doesn't really know any better. Now a days it seems everything is about comfort. God forbid you had to roll down a window or put gloves on when the steering wheel is cold or learn how to use the side and rear view mirror to back up.
I remember a time that when a car had A/C that was luxury at it's finest. If it had power windows, well that was just over the top.
