Default Will a V8 Stock Exhaust work with a V6?

I am thinking about getting rid of my custom magnaflow exhaust and installing a stock exhaust that comes from a 2013 R/T V8 Durango..

I have the V6 SXT Rallye Durango which the stock exhaust was a dual setup, but I am worried that the stock V8 exhaust might not work well with my V6. Anyone who is an expert on the exhaust systems think there would be any problems putting a stock V8 durango's exhaust on my V6?

What did you do with the stock dual exhaust?

I bought this car used and the previous owner put on a custom magnaflow exhaust. I'd more prefer the stock exhaust.

Funny as i'm trying to sell my magnaflo dual exhaust that i purchased for my V6, wife hated the sound. I was also wondering if a V8 dual would work but I couldn't get an answer, so I ended up buying a V6 dual from Chrysler. I read of a guy from the Jeep forum that purchased a used V8 dual and put it on his V6. worked great but i didn't want to take the chance of any issues in the future.

Hey Robbie check out this video of a V6 with a V8 exhaust installed. This is louder than what you currently have installed. I wish it would have sounded like this!

It might work but I would worry about losing too much back pressure and in turn low end torque and overall power. If the diameter of the two are the same you will be good but if the R/T is bigger your going to lose power.

uvalmore,
are you saying that this V8 OEM exhaust is louder than the Magnaflow set up you had on your old Dango aka Robbie's new Dango?

Yes. That video that I just posted is much louder. The system on the 2013 Durango just has a soft rumble- it is after all a V6. I was hoping with removing the resonators that it would help but it still wasn't too loud.
