Plasti-Dip Question

Plasti-Dip Question
I bought some of that plasti-dip spray and have a question. I'm going to use it to paint the area in the middle of the rear door, around the license plate, and the bottom around the exhaust for a different look. I understand the advantage of this stuff is that you can peel it off if you don't like it. My question is for those of you that have used it. If I mask off and use newspaper to cover the areas I don't want to get paint on, will the stuff peel off when I take the tape/paper off after it dries? Should I peel the tape off while it is still wet to avoid it peeling from the areas I want painted (i.e. stick to the tape and when I peel it it pulls off of the other surface). Just curious if any of you have used this on something other than wheels and how you dealt with it. Thanks...
BTW - whoever posted that "SRT Durango" picture...thanks a lot. It got me thinking about this and I can't get if off my mind until I try it!!
I'm actually thinking of doing the rockers under the doors and the front lip as well. Thoughts?

Easy to peel off!
Same here, placed tape about 1/2 inch square all way around badge, sprayed over tape, 6-8 light coats, peeled away no problem. Even between the letters came away all by itself, if there was any issues peeling I had a kabob stick ready to help and clean any residue. For such a cheap mod its great. I plasti dipped my hitch cover last week. When it was done, I didnt like it, and it peeled off in a second no problems, great stuff man. Have fun!!!
