2013 Dodge Durango Crew power liftgate wont open or close
None of the buttons work to open the liftgate. Used a snapon scanner to try bypassing to open liftgate, allows me to unlatch the cinch motor and open the door manually but will not re cinch after closing. Getting code B197F-12, B197F-11, B1978-00, B197A-00, B1979-00. Any suggestions on what the fix may be?

Your symptoms sound like the issue is probably with the latch assembly. Since the scan tool was able to get the gate open but it will not re-cinch and apparently the proximity antenna is working since you can hear the latch unlock. Per the diagram, the latch appears to include the latch release mechanism, the latch cinch mechanism, the latch secondary position sensor, and the liftgate ajar switch. Several of these items would be suspect for the symptoms you describe, but be sure to give the wiring and fuse a careful check before changing out the assembly. I've not had the pleasure of taking one of these apart to determine how easy it would be to source and replace the sector switch by itself.
